Volunteer Applications
We still have various positions on Friday Evening/Saturday Evening/Sunday afternoon open that need support. Late application EOI, please email volunteer@funcanberra.com.au with your name, phone number, and sessions you are available to assist. Volunteer benefits will be emailed to you once you send your EOI through.

Links to the volunteer training videos & Agreement will be available HERE on this site from 26 August 2026. Please make sure to watch the training videos before your volunteering session. Please read and sign the agreement before attending your volunteering session, as signed agreements will be collected during the festival. An email containing the password was sent to you directly in August 2026. If you didn't receive it, please email volunteer@funcanberra.com.au

Volunteer Q & A:
Q. How to gain a Meal Voucher?
A. Sign up for 2 or more shifts on the same day (each day will be offered 1 voucher) or a total of 3 or more shifts across different days. A meal voucher can be redeemed at all food stalls during the festival for one serve of food (drinks may not be included with the serve)
Q. What happens if I want to participate in an activity?
A. We will have activities available for volunteers to experience during the Volunteer Ceremony. During the festival, please do not participate in activities while on shift or skip the queue by using your volunteer status.
If there is an activity you would like to enjoy, please check the activity schedule in advance and join the queue as a regular participant during your break or when you are off shift.
