Whether you have experience in event coordination, logistics, marketing, stage management, or community engagement — or simply have a passion for making great events happen — we’d love to hear from you!

We still have various positions on Friday Evening/Saturday Evening/Sunday afternoon open that need support. Late application EOI, please email volunteer@funcanberra.com.au with your name, phone number, and sessions you are available to assist. Volunteer benefits will be emailed to you once you send your EOI through.

Volunteer Q & A:
Q. How to gain a Meal Voucher?
A. Sign up for 2 or more shifts on the same day (each day will be offered 1 voucher) or a total of 3 or more shifts across different days. A meal voucher can be redeemed at all food stalls during the festival for one serve of food (drinks may not be included with the serve)
Q. What is a Volunteer Activity Pass?
A. A Volunteer activity pass grants you access to the VIP activity tent for 1 activity out of 4, without lining up at the general activity area.
Q. How to earn an activity pass?
A. Sign up for multiple shifts across the festival (from 2nd - 7th September)
Detail: 2 shifts (1 activity), 3 shifts (2 activities), 4 shifts (3 activities), 5 shifts or more (VIP pass - full access to activities & Costume dress up)
