About the event
The Canberra Moon Festival makes its much-anticipated return in the year 2019, promising family fun and entertainment in celebration of one of Asia’s most important traditional festivals. It will be held in 13th -15th of September at the CITY WALK, Canberra, with up to 60,000 visitors expected over the three days.
Now in its third year, the Canberra Moon Festival is a multicultural extravaganza that coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival on the lunar calendar. It is traditionally observed across Asia by friends and family members gathering to celebrate the harvest and give thanks.
Celebrate the city’s proud tradition of inclusivity and promote the event’s concept of “One Community, One World, One Big Family”.
