The Canberra Moon Festival 2026 proudly celebrates the creativity, imagination and voices of Canberra’s young people through the Youth Artist Awards.
 

🎨 2026 Youth Artist Awards – Harmony Through Health
This year, students from Islamic School of Canberra, Mawson Primary School, Canberra High School, St Thomas Aquinas School and St John Paul II College have created inspiring 2D visual artworks and 3D handmade pieces exploring the theme “Harmony Through Health.”
 

Every artwork represents a young person’s perspective — and together, these different perspectives help create one shared Canberra story.
 

Under the shared spirit of “One Moon – One World, A Healthier Way Together,” the exhibition celebrates how creativity can connect people across different backgrounds and help build a more understanding, inclusive and harmonious Canberra community.

🌕 Artwork Exhibition & Public Voting

The artworks will be displayed throughout the Canberra Moon Festival, 4–6 September 2026 at City Walk & Petrie Plaza, and festival visitors are invited to view the exhibition and vote for their favourite pieces.
